Have an order in w a local farm for 3 heritage turkeys, 2 regular and 1 they will grind for us for ground turkey. Will probably end up spending $150. The grocery has turkeys for 49c/lb. Can’t bring myself to buy one there…it’s very frustrating though.

Sunny day today, pulled some plants out of the garden, ladies had a great time! Family sat out & enjoyed the company for a bit, too.

Do they offer a starter/grower chick feed? I’ve been feeding mine that (20% protein), since my new chicks are not laying yet and almost everyone else is in molt. My two hens still laying have been eating lots of oyster/egg shell when I refill the buckets, and the rest are mostly ignoring it.
